To the touch there is the little leather effect although it is not really, well made therefore, pretty red color. This type of case lasts me for at least 2 years with daily use before I really see the cardboard underneath, which suits me.

The magnetic closure is unfortunately too weak. I wouldn't buy it again. It's a shame because it's a beautiful phone case. Oh yes, the magnet sits very deep on this case, which is not the case with my old one.
