The basic performance of the driver unit has been enhanced in the ZE3000, and by acoustic sound quality adjustments using the acoustic space inside the earphone housing, it is adjusted so that the sound quality is sufficiently satisfactory without an equalizer. On top of that, extremely effective corrections that can only be made with an equalizer are performed, such as pinpointing the sound pressure in a narrow band. However, in order to make effective use of adjustments with this equalizer, a driver unit with extremely high accuracy sound pressure frequency characteristics is required. If there is a variation of about 3 dB, which is the general accuracy, correction with an equalizer will result in unnatural results. In order to solve this problem, we have developed a newly designed “F-core for Wireless,” which has newly reviewed the manufacturing method from scratch, and achieved ultra-low distortion. Generally, earphone diaphragms are made of resin film which is integrally molded with the edge. Since amplitudes are required at the front and rear, groove processing is applied tangentially to the diaphragm called a tangential edge, but in the case of a small-caliber driver unit requiring a large amplitude, rotational motion was added to the amplitude of the diaphragm, causing distortion. “F-core for Wireless” uses a special resin that combines lightness and hardness for the diaphragm. Extremely flexible special silicon is used for the edge part around the diaphragm to achieve a smooth and low distortion amplitude of the diaphragm. By separating the edge and diaphragm, a diaphragm area equivalent to a driver unit with a tangential edge is achieved, even though it is 6 mm in diameter, the diaphragm area is equivalent to 9 mm, and the amount of amplitude is reduced. This also contributes to reducing distortion. Furthermore, since this special silicon edge and diaphragm are directly heat-pressed without using adhesives, it contributes to improved assembly accuracy and significant weight reduction, in other words, reduction of distortion. With these thorough measures to reduce distortion, it is now possible to clearly distinguish the details of each sound that were buried in other sounds and were difficult to hear. Furthermore, by being able to listen to the process where the reverberation sound decays until the end, it is now possible to clearly feel even the size of the music's sound space.
“F-link damping mechanism” that optimizes the internal pressure of the housing
Completely wireless earphones require batteries, electronic boards, antennas, etc. to be stored in a housing at a high density. As a result, the degree of freedom to adjust sound quality by acoustic means is reduced, and sound creation is forced under strict restrictions. Since waterproof performance is required, a vent (vent) that optimizes the pressure of the acoustic space inside the earphone housing cannot be opened outside the housing. As a result, there is too much bass, and we are forced to emphasize the treble range in order to achieve balance. As a result, many completely wireless earphones have flashy sounds that emphasize both low and high frequencies. The ZE3000 has developed an “F-link damping” mechanism that optimizes the pressure in the acoustic space inside the earphone housing and enables acoustic design equivalent to that of wired earphones without venting to the outside of the housing, and is mounted inside the housing. This mechanism made it possible to achieve waterproof performance and proper tuning of the bass range, and it was possible to achieve natural sound creation without creating the emphasized band achieved with the E3000 in the past with completely wireless earphones.
