From what it looks like, how hard the clamping ring moves, I'm sure that the string/elastic will be well fastened, and the device will do its job well . Update: the device respects, very well, the job description 😅! I recommend!
When I read..."clips"..I thought there were at least two but when I open the package and see only a few, it's true that I was a little disappointed.
It can also be done with a safety pin, but on the principle of "I eat you, but I don't have tools"... it should be in my work/tailoring kit.
